St. Louis Auto & Truck Repair is proudly family-owned and operated, led by brother-and-sister duo PJ (Patrick Hamill IV) and Lisa Renaud. Automotive repair isn’t just a career for them - it’s part of who they are. Growing up in a repair shop family, both were raised around tools, trucks, and hardworking people. Their father owned and operated Marham Equipment, which was a tractor-trailer business, and PJ and Lisa began working alongside him in the early 1980s. Those early years shaped their work ethic and knowledge.
In 1986, PJ and Lisa decided to take everything they learned and build something of their own. They turned the business into St. Louis Auto & Truck Repair, an auto and truck repair shop focused on honest service and dependable repairs. Over the years, that small operation grew into a trusted local business with over 30 employees.
As the needs of the St. Louis community grew, so did the shop. What began as auto and truck repair expanded into used car sales and a full collision repair center, allowing customers to take care of nearly everything vehicle-related in one place. In 2014, the business moved to its current location on Delmar Boulevard, placing it near St. Louis University, Harris-Stowe State University, and Washington University, and making it a convenient option for downtown commuters, students, and local businesses alike.
